At Liferay I was the designer who worked from inside the system. Instead of shipping screens, I shaped the rules everyone else designed with: on Lexicon I looked after the components, the color and the product icons so that one visual language held across a product thousands of teams build on. That role also meant protecting how the team worked, so I led Design Ops and grounded our decisions in research before anyone opened Figma. And because I think designing something and explaining it are the same skill, I wrote and hosted DevCon 2025 on stage.
